Thanks to a committed group of volunteers — our Board of Directors — we achieve the highest standards in stewardship and accountability. Our Board members represent a wide range of expertise, having legal, finance/accounting, investment, senior management, marketing and fundraising backgrounds.

Our Board members ensure that:

  • Funds are used for the purpose for which they are given;
  • Funds are managed effectively and ethically;
  • The Foundation’s affairs are managed with appropriate care and control; and
  • We comply with any legislation pertaining to privacy issues.

Meet our Board of Directors:

Doug Daley moved to Fredericton in 1978 and accepted a marketing position at The Daily Gleaner. After a 20 year newspaper career, he left The Gleaner to join the staff at Kiers Marketing Group. He now holds the position of VP of Sales and Marketing and is a co-owner of the company. Mr. Daley has volunteered on numerous boards, committees and sports organizations over the years and is still very active working with the youth of the Fredericton/Oromocto area.

Both of Doug’s parents were residents of York Care Centre (York Manor) and his father Malcolm served as president of the resident’s council during his stay. Mr. Daley resides in Maugerville with his wife Marsha and they have two children, Robert and Victoria.

David Hildebrand served 10 years as New Brunswick’s elected representative on the National Governing Council, Appraisal Institute of Canada. As well, he served on and chaired various National Committees involving Ethics, Education and Finance sectors. From 1981-1982 he was elected as National President of the Appraisal Institute of Canada.

During his professional career, Mr. Hildebrand was Counselor of Professional Practice for Appraisal Institute of Canada (2003-2005) and President, Appraisals (Fredericton) Ltd (subsequently Fredericton Appraisal Associated Ltd.) (1977-2001).

Mr. Hildebrand has served his community in a number of capacities: Past Senior Counselor, Fredericton United Commercial Travellers; Past President, Fredericton North Rotary Club; Former Member, City of Fredericton Riverfront Development Task Force; Past President, Main Street Business Development Association (now Business Fredericton North); Past Director, Greater Fredericton Economic Development Corporation; Co-Chair, “Fredericton 150” Committee; and Member, Main Street Town Square (Nashwaaksis Commons) Committee.
